Greetings, my name is Jamaal Brown, creator of the Black365 Calendar (www.Black365.US) and Black365 Knowledge Bowl. I am pleased to announce the 2019 Jamaal Brown: African American Pride and Leadership Essay Contest. This year I will be awarding two (2) $100 scholarships to two talented essay writers. The winners will be given the opportunity to read their essay in front of the audience at the 10th Annual Black365 Knowledge Bowl! If the winners are unable to attend, then they shall submit a video of themselves reading their essay. Their video will be played in front of a capacity audience at the 10th Annual Black365 Knowledge Bowl taking place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at the Antelope Valley College Performing Art Theatre: 3041 West Avenue K, Lancaster, CA 93536. This contest is open to everyone ages 13-19. The deadline is February 21, 2020.
